Calcium Carbonate Bulk Supplier
Calcium Carbonate in Bulk
Calcium carbonate is the most widely used mineral filler in manufacturing, and the choice between precipitated and ground grades comes down to what you are paying for. Ground calcium carbonate is cheap bulk; precipitated calcium carbonate gives controlled particle size and brightness where the finish matters. BulkFineChem supplies both to plastics compounders, paint manufacturers, paper mills and rubber processors across India.
Specification
Purity, whiteness and mean particle size are stated on the batch Certificate of Analysis. Coated grades are available for polymer applications.
- CAS No. 471-34-1
- HSN Code 28365000
- Purity 98 percent minimum as CaCO3
- Precipitated (PCC) and ground (GCC) grades
- Packing: 25 kg and 50 kg HDPE bags, or 1 MT jumbo bags
Applications
Stearate-coated grades disperse far better in polymer systems and are worth specifying for filled plastics.
- Filler in PVC pipes, profiles and masterbatch
- Extender pigment in paints and coatings
- Coating and filler in paper manufacture
- Reinforcing filler in rubber compounds
- Acid neutralisation and soil conditioning
Handling and Storage
Calcium carbonate is chemically benign, but the fine powder is dusty and will react with any acid it meets.
- Store sealed in a dry area; damp material cakes and will not disperse
- Use dust protection when handling fine grades
- Keep away from acids, which cause effervescence
- Confirm whether a coated or uncoated grade is required
- SDS issued on request
Ordering
Tell us your application, particle size and whiteness requirement and we will quote the appropriate grade.
- Minimum order quantity 1 MT

- Batch-wise Certificate of Analysis with each dispatch
- TDS and SDS available on request
- Pan-India delivery with e-way bill for large consignments
FAQs
Questions buyers commonly ask about calcium carbonate.
- PCC or GCC? PCC gives controlled fine particle size and higher brightness; GCC is the economical bulk filler.
- Why is my filled plastic brittle? Usually poor dispersion; a stearate-coated grade normally solves it.
- Is a food or pharma grade available? Confirm your specification when enquiring.
- Can I get a sample? Yes, trial quantities can be arranged.
- What documents are provided? GST invoice, batch CoA, and TDS or SDS on request.
