Chloroform in Bulk

Chloroform is used today mainly as the feedstock for HCFC-22 and fluoropolymer manufacture, and as an extraction solvent in pharmaceutical and analytical work. It is supplied stabilised with a small amount of ethanol or amylene, because uninhibited chloroform oxidises in air to phosgene. It is a restricted substance and supply is conditional on the buyer holding the required approvals.
